The leader of the Khoisan Defiance Campaign, Sammy Claassen, whose organisation laid the complaint regarding Eben Etzebeth's alleged racial assault in Langebaan with the SA Human Rights Commission, called on SA Rugby president Mark Alexander to step down.
This after Alexander stood in support of Etzebeth, who is facing mounting calls from the public and the community of Langebaan to be recalled from the Springbok Rugby World Cup squad. SA Rugby said they would launch an internal investigation into the matter.
