Day 1 - Zuma's conspiracy theory

Former president Jacob Zuma on Monday attempted to discredit a former minister who testified against him at the judicial commission of inquiry into state capture, by accusing him of being a spy.

Zuma claimed that the inquiry as a whole had been formed to attack his character.

Sunday Times politics reporter Amil Umraw reports from the scene.
