On the evening of the 20 June, newly elected President Cyril Ramaphosa gave his third State of the Nation address to parliament.

The president put special emphasis on issues of youth unemployment, economic growth, the security of Eskom, the progress of his investment drive and land redistribution. Issues he stated, impact every member of the South African society.
