The Northern Cape Provincial Legislature says it’s all systems go ahead of its first sitting, which will be on Wednesday morning. Speaking to OFM News, Mpho Masina, who is the spokesperson at the provincial the office of the provincial speaker’s office said, the house is ready to swear in members from the African National Congress (ANC), Democratic Alliance (DA), Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and Freedom Front Plus (FF+) tomorrow, as they will now become members of the provincial legislature and will present each party as per the outcomes of the 2019 general elections which took place two weeks ago. As it stands, the ANC will have 18 seats, the EFF will be represented with 8 seats, while the EFF with 3 and the FF + with 1. Masina says the ceremony will be held at the province’s capital city, in Kimberley and over 1500 people are expected to attend.
