North West house robbery suspect set to appear in court

--:--
A 25-year-old house robbery suspect in the North West is expected to appear before the Ganyesa Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, April 23rd after he and his accomplice robbed a Pastor at one of the local churches in Morokweng village near Ganyesa. It is alleged that the Pastor was at the mission house and praying at Lokalaneng Section, Morokweng, when he heard a noise and went to investigate. Police spokesperson, Adéle Myburgh, says the pastor was then confronted by the suspects, who tied him up and stabbed him in his head, before they fled the scene with cellular phones and cash. She says the Pastor fortunately managed to identify the suspects, untied himself and later went to one of the suspects' parents' home where he found his goods. Myburgh says the matter was then reported to the police and one suspect was arrested.
