People of Note - Rusty Labuschagne

--:--
Rodney Trudgeon’s guest on People of Note this week is a man who tells the story of his incarceration for 10 years in a Zimbabwean prison for a crime he did not commit. Rusty Labushagne writes about his incredible trauma being in an overcrowded, filthy prison cell with some 8o inmates and how the experience strengthened him and made him learn how to forgive and to help his fellow man.
His book is called Beating Chains and although it is a harrowing read, it is also inspiring and a fascinating account of how a human being can survive the most traumatic circumstances and come out stronger.
