Israel, Cape Town, Water - What are the Solutions?

On this episode of the New Blue Review we talk about solutions for the water crisis in Cape Town. The city might be the world’s first major metro to run out of water. This comes after a long running drought that is now threatening to spread to the rest of South Africa. We talk to Dr. Clive Lipchin a former South African who directs the Centre for Transboundary Water Management at the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies in Israel. The Interview looks at the history of the Israeli hydrology regime and what the lesson learnt that could benefit countries like South Africa.
