Joint manhunt launched after NW farmer shot dead, wife critically injured

--:--
Members of local neighbourhood watches and the police launched a manhunt for three armed robbers last night after a man was shot dead and his wife critically injured during an armed robbery at a farm near Sannieshof in North West. BC Greyling was declared dead on the scene while his wife, Marlette sustained gunshot wounds and was rushed to a nearby hospital. AfriForum's Ian Cameron says a large number of people searched until late last night for the robbers who fled the scene in Greyling's Toyota bakkie. Cameron says all efforts to apprehend the robbers were unsuccessful.

Police says the suspects fled the scene with the victims' cell phones. An 88-year old woman, who was also in the farmhouse during the attack, was not injured.
