People of Note - Andrew Feinstein

The guest on People of Note this week is the well known campaigner against the global arms industry, Andrew Feinstein. Originally from Cape Town, he was a facilitator in the constitutional negotiations that led to the 1994 elections. He became an ANC MP, but later resigned in disgust over Parliament's refusal to investigate South Africa's massive arms deal that has been mired in allegations of high level corruption. He's the author of two widely read books: 'After Party' which has been described as a "guide through the murky world of South African politics" and 'Shadow World : Inside The Global Arms Trade'.
