In this profound and uplifting episode of The Journey, hosts Isabel and Hester explore the incredible depth of God's character, His grace, and the absolute assurance we have in Christ.
Diving into passages from Exodus, Numbers, Judges, and the Psalms, they unpack how God looks past our shortcomings and wasted years, focusing instead on the ultimate sacrifice of the cross and His unchanging love for us.
In this episode, we explore:
The Heart of God's Character:Discovering how God’s nature is rooted in mercy, faithfulness, and steadfast love, and how He doesn't count our wasted years or past failures against us.
Seeing Through the Cross: Drawing parallels from Numbers and the Old Testament to see how God's perspective is fixed on the blood, the mercy seat, and the cross—completely covering our imperfections.
The Blessing That Cannot Be Reversed: Unpacking Numbers 23 to understand that when God has commanded a blessing over His children, no weapon or opposition can reverse it.
Resting in His Righteousness: Resting in the finished work of Jesus, knowing we are presented holy, blameless, and above reproach in His sight (Colossians).
Tune in for an encouraging reminder of your true identity in Christ and how walking in His grace transforms everything!
