The European Union in Namibia has found no evidence of misuse of Erasmus+ funds by the Namibia National Students Organisation, Nanso, following an investigation into allegations linked to the SHINE Project. This after allegations arose regarding the potential misuse of EU funds after Nanso utilised grant money to organize a dedicated plenary session on the SHINE Project during its own National Congress. The European Education and Culture Executive Agency confirmed that N$8 100 was spent on a dedicated project session organised during Nanso’s National Congress. However, the agency found that the funding covered only the project session and not the congress itself. Ian Dupont, EU Deputy Head of Mission.
