Tshiamo Ramafi
Is a master’s student specializing in Medical Anthropology. Her academic
and advocacy work focuses on exploring how culture and health intersect,
particularly in the lives of young Black women. She is passionate about
unpacking the deep-rooted shame that many young women experience
when making decisions about their bodies, which is often shaped by
generational expectations and societal pressure.
Through her research, Tshiamo aims to encourage and empower women
to reclaim bodily autonomy through education, self-awareness, and
informed decision-making rooted in self-trust.
