On the eve of sweeping new U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods, dairy and Canada’s supply management system are once again at the centre of the trade fight. As negotiators race to reach a deal before tomorrow, many dairy farmers are arguing Canada should not give up further access to the industry in exchange for tariff relief.
