IN CONVERSATION WITH STIXX- DJ AND PRODUCER

Hailing from Kwa-Thema and Selcourt in the East Rand, Samuel Seloane, better known as Stixx, is an Amapiano producer and DJ who's quickly establishing himself as one of the genre's brightest talents. Coming from a musical family, Stixx began playing the drums at just two years old before teaching himself music production years later. Today, he's recognised as part of Amapiano's second generation of producers, has worked alongside artists such as DBN Gogo, is considered a protégé of Kelvin Momo, and is helping pioneer a new sound known as Kwapi, a fusion of Kwaito and Amapiano.
