The internationally acclaimed Mzansi Youth Choir is set to return to the Soweto Theatre for two performances of its brand-new production, Mzansi Unbound, on 7 and 8 August 2026. Founded in Soweto in 2003, the choir has become one of South Africa’s leading contemporary vocal ensembles, celebrated for its powerful fusion of exceptional vocal artistry, choreography and storytelling. Fresh from appearances on America’s Got Talent, performances during the FIFA World Cup 2026, and collaborations with global music icons including Coldplay, Beyoncé, Jon Batiste, Andrea Bocelli, Shakira and Josh Groban, the choir continues to proudly showcase South African talent on some of the world’s biggest stages.
