Drencko, whose real name is Malungelo Kamango, is a South African Kwaito artist, actor, and media entrepreneur. Born in Zola North, Soweto, he entered the music industry in 2000 and gained major recognition in 2006 with his debut album "Drenckolizer" released under Ghetto Ruff. His breakout single, "Sishay' Amahoota," was featured on the soundtrack of the Oscar-winning film "Tsotsi." Drencko founded the Drenckoliser Music Stokvel (DMS) in 2013 to combat industry exploitation and provide a platform for emerging musicians. He also launched the Ihleeezi Music League in 2019 to scout and reward new artists. Beyond music, Drencko has built a highly successful career in television and broadcasting.
