Yesterday, Canada, the United States and Mexico came together to discuss the mandatory review of their trade agreement, CUSMA. The discussion isn't a hard deadline, more of a checkpoint to see where all countries are, and if one were to exit the agreement, that process could take up to 10 years. Lawrence Herman, counsel at Herman & Associates, a member of the Expert Group on Canada-U.S. Relations and a senior fellow at the C.D. Howe Institute in Toronto, joins guest host Brent Loucks to bring us up to speed on what you need to know about the CUSMA review.
