Saskatchewan's forest industry says recent wildfire seasons are putting the long-term supply of timber at risk — the resource that supports mills, investment, and thousands of jobs in northern Saskatchewan. The industry is also calling for the release of a government-commissioned review of wildfire management and wants protecting forest resources added to the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency's mandate.
