Dr. Edwin Hlangwani is a South African biotechnology
researcher, lecturer, entrepreneur, and sustainability innovator.
He is the Founding CEO of OriGenes Biotech, an
agri-technology startup focused on converting agricultural waste
into sustainable bio-based agricultural inputs. He holds a PhD in
Biotechnology from the University of Johannesburg and has
further specialised training in Biogas Solutions from Linköping
University in Sweden and Venture Creation from the National
University of Singapore. He is currently pursuing a Master of
Science in Renewable and Sustainable Energy Transition at
Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom.
