Mangosuthu University of Technology launched the Student Dining, Edutainment & Study Social Centre, marking a major milestone in enhancing student life and campus experience.
The launch brought together university leadership, staff, and student representatives to celebrate a facility designed to promote learning, social interaction, entertainment, and student wellness. Speakers including Interim Vice-Chancellor and Principal Professor Rushiella Songca, Professor Bheki Twala, Professor Sibusiso Chalufu, Professor Marcus Ramogale, and SRC President Mr Mdumiseni Chonko emphasized the importance of creating student-centred spaces that support both academic and social development.
Guests were also taken on a guided tour of the facility led by Housing Superintendent Mr Gugu Madlala, showcasing the centre’s modern amenities and its role in enriching campus life.
