Laila Jeebodh

Is an Educational Psychologist, lecturer, and founder of Psychologists
Beyond Borders, an organisation supporting war-traumatised refugees
worldwide. She specialises in psycho-educational assessments and
therapeutic interventions, including mindfulness-based practices.
Laila has lectured at the University of Johannesburg and worked
extensively with diverse communities locally and internationally, including
humanitarian work with Syrian refugees in Jordan. Her PhD focuses on
trauma-sensitive mindfulness for PTSD in war-affected populations.
Passionate about diversity, mental health, and mindfulness, Laila is also a
proud South African, wife, and dog mom who enjoys travel, cooking, and
spending time with family.
