Rachel Kolisi's: "Embrace resilience as your superpower"

Carol Ofori speaks with Rachel Kolisi about her Falling Forward national tour, documentary, and book focused on identity loss, healing, and rediscovery.

Three cities in, the tour arrives in Durban with strong ticket sales, and Rachel describes the event experience: an hour-long foyer market featuring women-owned businesses, drinks and snacks, brand spoils, a performance by Anika Kiana, a choir, the documentary screening, and an on-stage conversation with Nondumiso Denga.

Rachel explains her intention to create a safe, honest space for women to share pain and challenges that society often struggles to accept, drawing on stories from attendees facing divorce, grief, and major life transitions.

She shares that faith and a trusted support system keep her grounded, that her vulnerability is a legacy for her children, and that her key lesson is resilience as a “super power” and the power to choose what comes next.
