MUT CEAD hosted a Scholarship of Engagement Conference under the theme:
“Bridging the Knowledge Gap in Advancing the Scholarship of Engagement for Maximum Societal Impact.”
The MUT Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Professor Nokuthula Sibiya, together with her colleague, the Vice-Chancellor and Principal of UJ, Professor Letlhokwa George Mpedi, shared the stage and delivered powerful speeches highlighting the impact of community engagement within institutions.
Among the invited guests, the MUT Volunteer of the Year also delivered an inspiring speech. The evening was brought to a close by Professor Nkonki, who ended on a high note with reflections on her journey with MUT since 2015.
