Naledi Aphane represents the new generation of South African sports broadcasters making an international mark through resilience, mentorship, and vision. Her journey began at Hope Alive Radio under the mentorship of Arnold Rankoko, where her early work shaped her into a confident voice in local sports storytelling. Today, she continues to evolve under the guidance of industry legend Robert Marawa, balancing mentorship with her own growing authority in the field.

Her rise to international acclaim came through cricket broadcasting, with notable coverage assignments in the UAE and India, securing her place as one of the few South African women to command such a platform in a male-dominated sport. Now, as the co-founder of The Sports Media Collective alongside Tebogo Motebejane, Naledi is not only amplifying her own career but also creating a hub for collaboration and skills development within the sports media landscape.
