Ramaphosa has kicked off the search for South Africa’s next top prosecutor, but his chosen selection panel is already under fire. The team, chaired by Justice Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi (who’s not a lawyer), will shortlist candidates to replace NPA boss Shamila Batohi when her term ends in early 2026.
