Fine Music Classics - 12 September 25

This week hear music by Zbigniew Preisner in a medley from 3 films, along with music by Quincy Jones for “The Italian Job”, by Dave Pemberton from “Amsterdam” and by Patrick Doyle from “Death On The Nile”. TV music includes “The Golden Girls”, “Game Of Thrones” and there’s an excellent set of variations for alto sax and orchestra by Christopher Gunning on his theme to the David Suchet series “Poirot”. There’s also music from the first film to use Sensurround.
