Cape Town Opera’s sparkling production of Rossini’s hugely popular opera The Barber of Seville is playing to packed houses at the Theatre on the Bay. Playing the leading role of the barber is the baritone William Burger and I spoke to him on People of Note this week about the role which is a tour de force for the baritone.
