On Wednesday afternoon, after Alberta and Saskatchewan's governing caucuses had met in Lloydminster, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe repeated calls for federal action on energy projects. This is necessary, the premiers said, if Prime Minister Mark Carney wants to see Canada have one of the strongest economies in the G7 and requires immediate action.
