Film can entertain but for Ntokozo Mlaba, it’s also a weapon of
liberation. At just 23, this award-winning filmmaker, impact
producer, and social activist is telling the stories too many people

Short at international festivals, Ntokozo has turned pain into
purpose through film. His latest project, The Passage, confronts
gender-based violence and is currently touring festivals around
the world. But his real revolution may not be in the spotlight it’s
