ANC names Dada Morero as candidate for mayor of Johannesburg

The ANC has forwarded finance MMC and regional chairperson Dada Morero's name as the party's candidate for the executive mayor of Johannesburg.

This comes after embattled Johannesburg mayor Kabelo Gwamanda submitted his resignation on Tuesday morning.

Morero’s nomination was announced during a media briefing by the ANC in greater Johannesburg held on Tuesday afternoon.
