According to BrandMapp research, half of well-educated, mid-to-top-income young people in South Africa say they plan to emigrate and build wealth elsewhere. The study focused on 13 million South Africans between the ages of 18-35, who are part of households that earn more than ten thousand Rand a month. But there is a silver lining as BrandMapp says young people are much more optimistic about their financial security.
