Episode 100: M O T H E R H O O D! The least/most important job in the world

Loading player...
It's a significant milestone for The Great Equalizer team, as we proudly hit 100 episodes. That's more than 100 hours of talking about the wild ride that is parenting in the 2020s.

Sam and Charlene reminisce about where the show started and how it's grown over the years. We also chat about the new levels we've unlocked in motherhood, and how our views on life and parenting have changed (or not!) as our kids got older.

And what would a milestone episode be without an epic guest?! We've been sitting on this one for a while, folks, but we're VERY proud to have author Ashley Audrain on the show again, this time talking about her second novel, The Whispers, and how it delves into the complex interior lives of women.

It's a jam-packed episode that touches on the makings of a parenting podcast, growth as mothers and how the role changes from baby/toddlerhood to the heady world of primary school. It's a coffee date with your besties about the challenges of modern womanhood, and navigating the ups (and downs!) of this crazy upside down.
