The Newclare Breakfast Kitchen in Brixton, led by the incredible Tannie Audry, has been a beacon of hope since 2007. Every morning, they ensure school children start their day with a warm meal. In 2019, they launched a bakery, creating jobs and skill development opportunities.
This winter, Tannie Audry and her team are extending their support to two old age homes, disabled centres, and school soup kitchens in Sophiatown. However, they face challenges with limited resources.
