Michael Nkuna on Kofifi FM 97.2

--:--
Tembisa born and TUT alumni Trumpeter Michael Nkuna is no stranger to the Gauteng Jazz circuit, in fact we’ve seen him on perform alongside Iphupho l’ka Biko, Mthunzi Mvubu, Moses Sebula and just yesterday with guitar virtuoso Billy Monama.
He says he is one who likes to do things instead of talking about them, preferring to let the horn speak for him.
This brother has a thing for classical music but is just as comfortable listening to bebop, smooth, modal jazz, swing and Avant Garde.
Is inspired by trumpeters like Clifford Brown, Lee Morgan, Freddie Hubbard, Blue Mitchell, Miles Davis, Roy Hargrove and Wynton Marsalis.
Michael joins us for our opening act this week on The K Jazz Show
