It's no question that 2023 was dominated by a certain music superstar -- Taylor Swift. Between her Era's Tour, her concert movie, her NFL spottings and red carpet moments, she's been dominating entertainment coverage over the past year and continues to now. There's a lot to Taylor Swift, even beyond her pop star persona -- so much so that some universities have been offering entire courses dedicated to her songwriting and career. Vivek Jayaram is one of the people teaching one of those courses. He's a partner at Jayaram Law in Florida and teaches courses on intellectual property and entertainment law at the University of Miami. He's combined those interests to teach a course on intellectual property AND Taylor Swift. He joins Evan to talk more about the course and why that aspect of Swift's career is worth studying.
