Meet Vania Leles - The Diamond Queen. In this episode, she shares with us how her humble upbringing didn't stop her from achieving her dream and building one of the biggest diamond brands in the world: VANLELES

Born in Guinea-Bissau and brought up in Portugal, Vania is a former model. She left her New York catwalk career to train to be a gemologist and diamond-grader. Vania then gained 10 years’ experience at some of the most prestigious jewellery houses on Bond Street before opening her own first-floor salon.

Vania is one of the few black African women to own a luxury jewellery business of this calibre.

In this conversation, she tells us how she got introduced to the diamond industry and discovered her purpose in life: Honoring Africa's Beauty through Luxury and Fine Jewellery.

Vania is not just reshaping the diamond industry; she's changing the African narrative by infusing all her diamond designs with a touch of Africa. Her story is one of resilience, breaking barriers, challenging stereotypes in the jewelry business, and earning a seat at the big table through unwavering dedication.
