KwaZulu-Natal will soon move to a new number plate system. From the first of December, vehicles in the province will have the letters 'ZN'. The move was decided at a KZN Provincial Executive Council meeting on Wednesday. The Executive Council says plates with three alphabets, such as NRB, NPN and NPS, will be exhausted. Motorists will be given 24 months to migrate from the current system to the new one. To get clarity on the move, Carol Ofori spoke to KZN Department of Transport spokesperson, Kwanele Ncalane.
