Last Saturday was a day filled with compassion and generosity as the community came together to support the Round Table Hochland 154 N$5 Project at My SPAR Maerua.

The final tally for Saturday's event was an impressive N$12,800, a testament to the caring spirit of the people in our community. Round Table Hochland 154 has a long history of supporting various charities, and their N$5 Project, held at the end of every month, is just one of the many ways they make a positive impact.

The gratitude of Round Table Hochland 154 extends to every person who generously donated items for this project. It was heartwarming to see the outpouring of support from our community members, each contributing in their own way to help those in need.

The donated items were not distributed to a local soup kitchen dedicated to serving the community. This gesture ensured that the contributions went directly to those who need it most, making sure that no one in our community goes to bed hungry.

In times when the world can seem chaotic and divided, it's events like the Round Table Hochland 154 N$5 Project that remind us of the kindness that binds us together. With each meal provided, we're not only nourishing bodies but also nourishing the spirit of our community.

Let's keep the spirit of giving alive and continue to support initiatives like this one, ensuring that everyone in our community has access to at least one meal a day. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of our fellow Namibians.
