'I am still the public protector of South Africa' — Mkhwebane 

Suspended public protector advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane says she is still the public protector. This is despite her plans to return to work on Tuesday not materialising. Mkhwebane was speaking to the media on Tuesday outside the public protector’s office in the company of her husband. According to Mkhwebane’s interpretation her suspension was only effective during the parliament inquiry.
