In the United States 64 percent of 18–29-year-olds who grew up in church said that they have withdrawn from church involvement as an adult after having been active as a child or teen. And in South African we all know someone who used to be dedicated to the church and serving in the ministry who doesn’t do it anymore. So how do we retain young people in church even after they leave home in pursuit of a bright future?
