But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.’
How reassuring it is to hear these words spoken by our Lord.
Life has a way of giving us so much to be worried and anxious about.
But in the midst of it we hear these words: ‘Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.’
Take heart, don’t worry and be courageous, because He is with you.
Let's Pray...
Lord, when You spoke these words to Your disciples they were afraid. Your words brought them comfort and strength. Today I receive these same words into my heart and I am also strengthened and reassured because You are the same, yesterday, today and forever.
Amen.
