Kgothatso Montjane — first SA woman to win a French Open title since Tanya Harford and Ros Fairbank

--:--
A first South African woman to win a French Open title since Tanya Harford and Ros Fairbank's victories in.1981. Yep, that's right and her name is Kgothatso Montjane. And if you've followed Kgothatso well over the years, you know all too well that this has been long coming because this was his sixth appearance at a grand slam finals in the last four years. Well- deserved isnt a word enough to describe this young man's tenacity and never say never attitude. Now Montjane teamed up with Yui Kamiji from Japan in the most electrifying manner as the two clinched an impressive 6-2, 6-3 victory over Diede de Groot and Maria Moreno to claim the women's doubles trophy. She is back in the country and straight to #MSW studios
