Zimbabwe exemption permit expiration looms

At the end of this month the Pretoria High Court will make its ruling on the Zimbabwean Exemption Permit system. If the court rules in Home Affairs' favour these permits will be scrapped, forcing nearly 200,000 Zimbabweans to leave South Africa. In the meantime, many have already spent thousands trying to obtain waivers but are still waiting for the process to be completed.
