‘We remain on track’ - electricity minister on restoring units at Kusile power station

Electricity minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa visited Kusile power station on Monday to receive a status report on the measures taken to bring back the four units at Kusile by December 2023. According to Ramokgopa, they are on track to restore units at the power station, which he says is “critical” to the grid. However he says load shedding cant be stopped by the end of the year despite working hard to resolve the crisis.
