Nana Atta says mentorship from Zakes Bantwini was very important in her career. She says she is at a place in her life were she is enjoying the freedom to just be herself and express herself in her music something that took her a while to do. She is embracing her herself and taking pride in who she is and she says it shows in her Emakhosini EP.
Incognito's band leader Jean-Paul (Bluey) Maunick said the 44 year- journey of the band reflects who they are as people and the fact that they haven't stayed in one place, "we are not coming to you and playing one dimensional music"
