Loftus Versfeld Stadium has been announced as host for the Nedbank Cup final later this month. The last time Gauteng hosted a cup final was back in 2020 and coincidentally, it was the Nedbank Cup final between Mamelodi Sundowns and Bloemfontein Celtic, played behind closed doors at the same Soweto venue due to Covid-19. Gauteng premier Panyaza Lesufi acted swiftly to have the Nedbank Cup final played in the province.
