DA bemoans power situation in Maluti-a-Phofung Local Municipality

There is reportedly no oil on site at the Greenlands sub station. Residents of Tsiame and the Special Economic Zone have also been without power for the past two weeks. This is according to DA Cllr in the Maluti-A-Phofung municipality, Eleanor Quinta, who adds that the situation is exacerbated by inclement weather conditions. This followed shortly after the area was without power for a week due to maintenance, and also experienced power supply issues for an extended period of time over the 2021/22 festive season.
