Rapper AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes, has died.

TshisaLIVE confirmed that the 35-year-old rapper was shot dead outside a popular restaurant on Florida Rd in Durban.

Police confirmed that a 35-year-old male and his bodyguard had been shot dead on Friday.

KwaZulu-Natal police say two armed suspects shot rapper "AKA" and another man as they were walking towards their vehicle from a restaurant on Florida Road in Morningside, Durban. The two were declared dead on the scene, said Col Robert Netshiunda.
