In July 2022, Devon BosmanAKA Bakkies suffered a catastrophic neck injury playing for his club in Humansdorp at the age of 18. The injury has resulted in Devon becoming a quadriplegic. The Players Fund is raising money to ensure his home is equipped for his new life journey in a wheelchair by modifying the existing structure and building a small extension onto his family home.
