"Football Can Kill You"

--:--
The first legs of the MTN8 Semi-Finals have come and gone in a flash with the results being nothing less of a surprise! This first matchup saw Mamelodi Sundowns travel to Orlando to take on the Buccaneers in a fixture witnessed by a sold-out stadium! Masandwana uncharacteristically failed to register a single shot on target (9 shots in total); combined with a strong defensive effort from the buccaneers - that match ended in a stalemate!

Kaizer Chiefs hosted AmaZulu on Sunday which saw red cards, goals, and fiery emotions. Gabadinho Mhango opened the scoring for Usuthu early in the first half after a lovely composed finish; Dolly netted in the 61st minute to even things up for Chiefs. A couple of missed chances between and after the goals should've given Chiefs the lead but it wasn't to be for Amakhosi. A second red for AmaZulu late in the game was too little too late for Chiefs to claim the victory.

On the latest episode of the Fan Reaction Show, Mzansi has given their opinion on the recent MTN8 fixtures - the first legs of the Semi-Finals. The supporters express their frustrations, and excitement and offer praise toward the matches with one fan even saying 'football can kill you!'
